More Information VRP: Don't hit your brother.
VRP: Don't hit your brother. Green: If you are angry with your brother, I want you to keep your hands to yourself and tell him what he did and how you feel.
One way to VRP someone is to say what the person is, "not to do."

In addition to sounding like a Persecutor, one who tells someone what "not to do" actually paints a picture of an action, increasing the liklihood that someone will do the behavior which is "not wanted."

Example: Ever think about reaching out to check for tackiness when seeing the sign: "Wet Paint -- Do Not Touch"?
Green is saying what behavior I would like done, by myself or by someone else.
