The Victim/Persecutor labels "wrong" and "shouldn't" can suggest that this illness "should" be happening to someone else, someone who is a "bad" person, one of my enemies, perhaps, rather than someone such as me. |

Recognizing and expressing that I am angry (Feeling) is acknowledging the reality that what has happened, has happened. It is beyond what I can change from having happened.
Starting with this truth is the starting point for Thinking about choices that I may make now and in the future to deal with this. |
